Current Situation
ILA and USMX issued a joint statement yesterday, October 3rd. They have reached a tentative agreement on wage negotiations and will extend the current agreement until January 15, 2025. Regarding the wage increase, they have tentatively agreed on a 62% increase over the next six years of the new agreement. Negotiations between ILA and USMX will continue on the remaining issues towards the January agreement deadline. With this tentative agreement, the strike will end, and operations are expected to gradually resume.
